FRC Community News: Parks Days 2013 Get up, Get out and Let’s Move for Fun ‘n FITchburg’s second annual ‘Parks Days’ in the summer of 2013. Visit seven of Fitchburg’s most prized active living spots for something fun and free over seven weeks in the summer. In collaboration with the Fitchburg Parks and Recreation Department, Summer Feeding program, and many community-based organizations, we will highlight activities that promote healthy behaviors for youth with a focus on ages 2-12. Each ‘Parks Day’ will offer healthy snacks, interactive games, prizes and raffles for participants. The schedule for ‘Parks Days’ is: • Sunday June 30th at Riverfront Park, • Friday July 12th at Coolidge park, • Thursday July 18th at Park Hill Park, • Wednesday July 24th at Green Street Park, • Tuesday July 30th at Goodrich Park, • Monday August 5th Crocker Park, and • Monday August 12th at Green Acres.
