FRENCH FRY & TATER TOT – Need to know information: 1. What is the story of French Fry & Tater Tot becoming part of your family? Dogs have always been very special to us and just can’t imagine our home without them. I chose Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers for the high energy and playful spirit. They are also known for their Wheatie Greeting which is the main reason I fell in love with this breed. They get so excited when they first meet you that they jump on you so suddenly it almost knocks you over. To some not a great greeting but to me, it’s the best! 2. How did you come up with French Fry &Tater Tot’s name? This is one of the most frequently asked questions about how the Spud Nicks got their name – especially since we own 10 pizza restaurants. Well…..my all time favorite food is potatoes but I am always watching my carbs so by naming them French Fry &Tater Tot, I always have my potatoes. I also love hash browns & sweet potatoes but hubby says NO MORE Potatoes in this house. 3. What is French Fry &Tater Tot’s favorite toy/color/song? Anything that squeaks for a toy. And they love upbeat music because they associate it with being on the runway – which they both love. French Fry always prances on sttage and Tater Tot swishes. 4. If French Fry & Tater Tot were a famous person, who would they be? French Fry already seems to think he is the 4 legged James Bond. He loves dressing in a tux. When he is on the runway, he always tries to stop mid runway and give a pretty girl on the front row a big wet kiss. This is also how he earned his nickname – The Kissing Bandit Tater Tot would be Dolly Parton because she loves to dress up in fancy clothes. And like Dolly, Tater Tot is very loving and giving. They both do a lot of work for charity. 5. How does French Fry & Tater Tot get the most laughs out of you? One of the funnies things around our house is when the UPS guy comes to the house.French Fry LOVES him because he always leaves a treat with the package. One day I opened the door and French Fry flew past the UPS driver and jumped in his truck. We still laugh that we have the first 4-legged UPS employee.Poor Tater Tot has no idea why French Fry barks when he hears the UPS truck. But she wants in on the action and starts barking and jumping on French Fry and biting his ankles. We have actually seen French Fry roll his eyes at her.
