FRI & SAT WYOMING CHECKERBOARD ROUNDUP REPORTS DAY 12: Friday, Sept. 26. NO DEATHS. One helicopter rounded up seven mares, nine stallions, and six foals. Total Horses Removed: 22. Trap Site: Bridger Coal Trap, Great Divide Basin. DAY 13: Saturday, Sept. 27. No animals were rounded up Sat. Trap location was moved to the Salt Wells Herd on the south side of I-80. Total Horses Removed om Roundup: 543 Total Horse Deaths: 10. Carol Walker was at the checkerboard roundup on Friday.
