FRIDAY 10-25-13 Okay, heres what is going to happen: . . . at 4 AM on October 31st I am going to get into my truck and head for L. A. At 4 PM I am going to be standing near the back-stage door at the Ahmanson Theatre waiting for Danny DeVito to step out into the daylight after his Thursday-matinee-performance. By that time a friend of mine will already have a camera set up on a tripod, ready to begin video-taping whatever is to happen next. And it is at this point that I hope to end 19 years of frustration . . . by placing a small sign in Dannys hands as I am asking him to read it. I will then stand back and indicate to the camera. (Here are the words on the sign that I will be handing Danny.) Danny--- I am making a documentary film about a writers 19 year saga to finally get a script into your hands. The writer says he is brilliant . . . and claims that the script offers the absolute greatest of all Danny DeVito roles. Any comment?
