FRIDAY, 6TH SEPT 2013 DO EXCELLENT THINGS! “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest” Eccl 9:10 God is both the sum of perfection and precision. That was why He didn’t take chances at all when it came to building the tabernacle. Apart from showing Moses the exact pattern the Israelites were to replicate, He also instructed him on the specific dimensions to be used in the construction. As though that was not enough, He got a hold of Bezaleel, the architect in charge of the construction and filled him up with the required technical know-how. Because when God is involved perfection and excellence are involved It is not anything less for you, God demands excellence from you in everything you are involved with be it schooling, a business venture, a ministry, or what you will even term as a hobby. Pay attention to minute details and never do anything haphazardly. When you start functioning this way, God will also cause you to see result beyond your effort. Not only that, He will also create better opportunities for you being confident in the fact that you will maximize them. Jesus says to Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven(Matt 5:16). One of the ways to let your light shine is by excelling in all that you are concerned with. You might have lived as a mediocre all your life and not really know where to start from. This is the reason the Holy Ghost indwells you. He enables you to function beyond your abilities. Learn to rely on His unlimited ability that is at work in you. This is the secret of the success of the early apostles. One time Paul made reference to this fact when he said Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God(2 Cor 3:5) There is no space for mediocrity, refuse to be one. DIGGING DEEP: Col 3:23 PERSONAL STUDY: Job 22-24, Isa 3 PRAYER/CONFESSION: Dear Father, I thank you for inundating me with your ability. I declare that I am a success in all that concerns me as I function with the spirit of excellence and wisdom in the name of Jesus.
