FRIDAY, MARCH 28 A night of celebrating diversity in the Hokie Nation is coming to McComas! Join Rec Sports for the 2014 Hokie World Games. Starting at 3:30pm, the Parade of Nations will kick off the event, which will include food, recreational activities, instructional dance classes and even a fencing demo. Don’t miss out on this night of celebrating cultures! Here is the schedule! Parade of Nations, Squires Student Center 3:30 PM Route: Squires, Burruss Hall, W. Campus, McComas Hall Arrive in McComas Single Gym approx. 4:10 Welcome/Introductions of Countries Rock/Paper/Scissor Competition 4:30 PM Basketball Knockout Competition 4:45 PM Zumba Class 5 – 5:30 PM Food Served Instructional Dance Showcase 5:40 – 6:00 PM Fencing Demonstration 6:05 PM Skill Stations 6:10 – 6:40 PM Hip Hop Dance Ballet Irish Fencing Rock/Paper/Scissor Competition 6:45 PM ------------------------------------------- Reach Out to Syria 6 pm – 7:30 pm at Haymarket Theater in Squires Student Center The Hill and Veil group will be performing to help raise money for UNICEF’s programs that give aid to Syrian children in refugee camps.
