FRIENDSHIP. Every person in the world needs somebody to rely on,someone to care,a shoulder to lean and cry on.You know like i know its true,we need each other. every heart in the world needs a song to carry on,every soul needs some love to share.Though theres harm in the world we still have to carry on and even if we pretend and hide behind superman/woman mask,we know the truth and it remains that beyond our immediate family members,we all need true friendship relationship.You know as a matter of fact it could do a lot of good,could be medicine to the heart,we need each other to survive.Theres a rich texture in a healthy friendship relationship.You feel needed and enjoyed,with a sense of trust for each other when you handle each other secrets. the simple camaraderie and pleasure if each others company,sharing experiences together,commiserating and felicitating.Theres a support system that develops,a guardrail for each other along the treacherous curves and icy shoulders of lifes road.When you begin to enjoy such transparent and sincere developed friendship, you begin to feel youre not so alone. like some would say and yes its true thatJesus is with us but remember it takes another human being to actually make someone else feel the love,company and care of Jesus Christ here on earth. We all desire someone who will see what no one else sees about us,our qualities and weaknesses,our virtues and craziness,yes every body has some level of both which is a brand of our lives,could be in our sense of humor or the way we look at life.When we get depressed or feel defeated we need someone to lean on,someone to call when we we feel alone and untouchable in the center of our so painful.Someone to confide in and share in the journey that challenges our lives.Someone whos not ashamed to identify with your shame,not afraid to identify with your pain. Forget the fine dresses,make ups and suit we all have been ashamed of some thing sometime in our lives.I believe we long for those kind of friendship that will not melt to the harsh reality of life. Remember David in the bible and Jonathan now thats what Im talking.Dont tell me its not possible,it is.We are all just afraid to let someone in our lives because of a feeling of insecurity but also know that there are so many people who seek for true friendship and i know you are one of them and if you are that should let you know that there are many out there like you.Its about time we become a Jonathan to a David.Dont be afraid ,reach out to some one with a good heart today. Let someone know how much you value and appreciate his/her friendship,look for opportunities to plant a sincere seed of friendship in someones life and in case you are a Hill Citizen and you are reading this piece dont forget to bring your gift this Sunday to church.
