FROM NORTHERN RIVERS CONSERVATORIUM to all instrumental music parents.... Music in Schools News Can you believe it is nearly the end of another term? Music lessons continue right through to the end of week ten, and I hope everyone is finding more time to enjoy practicing now that the days are getting longer! Timetables for term four will be prepared during the holidays, so it is essential that all students requiring changes to their enrolment (including withdrawal), notify me at the Conservatorium before the end of term. Any new students interested in commencing lessons, please enrol online at enrol.nrcac.edu.au immediately to be included in term four timetables. I would like to invite you to our Spring Gala Concert at Lismore Workers Club this Saturday, September 7 from 4:00-6:00. You will see our Community Orchestra, Youth Jazz Orchestra, and some beautiful choirs, as well as our youngest students making their stage debut, and maybe even your own teacher in the Staff Ensemble! Also making news is our RockOnsemble! This is a weekly band session especially for students in years 5-8. Meeting on Thursdays from 4:30-5:45 at the Conservatorium in Lismore, only $10 for registered students.
