FROM RAINY AND WET TO WINDY AND DRY WEDNESDAY FORECAST DISCUSSION: A big storm will continue to move across the Great Lakes tonight bringing rain to all of the East Coast. Our rain will remain light to moderate this afternoon before tapering to occasional showers this evening and overnight. The rain will be over by sunrise on Christmas morning but the clouds will take a little longer to clear out. We will see increasing amounts of sunshine in the afternoon thanks to a gusty Northwest wind which will average 20-30mph. Temperatures will continue to rise this evening out of the 40s and into the 50s where they are likely to stay until just before sunrise. Plan on temps near 55 at midnight and near 50 by wake-up time on Christmas morning. Temperatures will stay in the upper 40s to near 50 throughout Christmas day before falling back into the 30s Christmas night. High pressure will move in and provide is with dry weather from Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning.
