FROM: SUNDAYS OPEN Q & A As we have witnessed the great effort and concentrated resources to sowing the fields during the 23 yr tribulation right. Now as we are staring to hear Jehovahs declaration to reap the sown fields. Are we going to radio, billboards, and caravans??? And if so... do we now start to gather our resources and became better stewards of our increase again? 2. In 2 Peter 3 10-13 Is this fervent heat still stands as physical event? Or does this verse 11 make this fire more a spiritual one? ANSWER We do all that we can. At this point we do not have the financial resources to develop a big ad campaign. So we are trying to use our funds sparingly and wisely. We have been running advertisements for some months on Face book and lately also on You Tube. Through this we have been economically reaching out to larger and larger numbers of people. I do think that we will be able to reach out to even greater numbers of people in the future, but I dont know to what degree or exactly what methods we might use. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. The day of the Lord began on May 21, 2011 with a spiritual judgment. There was no destroying fire on that day, or on the days since. But the day of the Lord is not a single day. It is actually a prolonged period of time. If we are correct about the 1600 days then the entire 1600 period is identified by God as The Day of the Lord. And even though 1599 days bring only spiritual judgment----once God destroys the world on the 1600th day with a literal destruction (as we read in 2 Peter 3) that also takes place during the day of the Lord. The following verses demonstrate how God can speak of a prolonged period of time as a single day (in this case 40 years): Hebrews 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Hi Chris, Couldnt prolonged period as a single day could also be seen too in the verse: 2Co_6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) ? Wasnt that day of salvation equal to 1955 years? plus the 17 years of the Latter Rain outside of the churches between 1994-2011? Yes. Its also known as the acceptable year of the Lord.
