FROM: Sophie Hi. I wonder if you would ask a question of your members for me please? Im 32 & only recently realised Im Aspergers (no diagnosis yet). Im married with two children, a boy of three & a girl of five. My daughter Im sure is Aspergers too. As is my mum. And her mum! I home ed the children. I love it & wouldnt change it, but I am really, really struggling with daily life. I become overwhelmed very easily. I can see how if it were just me & my husband, Id probably have a very minimal home, minimal belongings, safe routine, etc. with two small whirling dervishes & all the stuff they bring, thats just not possible (nor would I impose it on them). How do other Aspergers mums cope? I get stressed if my mental catalogue of where everything is (clothes, crockery, etc) gets disturbed; I have little routines that are set in stone; yet I cant organise housework to safe my life; I feel like Im constantly in overwhelm!
