FROM THE DESK OF DR. JAMES ANGBAZO: HOPE FOR NASARAWA In line with the avowed principle of turning around the tension in Nasarawa State thro democratic means of allowing rightful expression of opinion, franchise and ideological pursuit, the Forum is delighted to observe the rain of Prayers from all and sundry for peace in the course of the LG elections over the weekend It is Emancipation or turmoil. We chose Emancipation and unity as a clear dividend of democracy As the Election proceeds and result announced may our temperament be steady. May we keep in mind that administrators have been in the helm of affairs in the LGCs of Nasarawa state over three years and it has not stopped your wellbeing. Democracy limits tenure and time for politicians to exercise the authority granted them by the constitution when voted into power. Be assured that whater mistakes observed in an Election, the tenure for those who benifit is fixed and expires sooner than imagine! Keep strategizing Keep faith Keep mobilizing and wining friends from those who were once your enemies Keep accepting the opinion and even the assault of others who may misunderstand you And one day you will be too strong to be ignored People give power when your lose people based on single happenings around you, you are depleted in capacity to get power! May our focus go beyond self but state interest! Long Live Nigeria Long live Nasarawa state!! Long Live Our Royal Fathers!!! Long Live Nasarawa youths!!!! Enjoy the period not withstanding what result is announced by Monday, 23th March, 2014 Life is precious and shouldnt be destroyed or sacrificed for anything under heaven
