FROM THE NEWSROOM: A Plainfield woman will be named to the Presidency of the National Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Ann Panteleakos, a life member of the Albert J. Breault Auxiliary #1523 in Putnam, will be sworn into her position as President during the 100th Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, Thursday, according to the organizations website. Panteleakos has served as the Vice President of the national organization, and has held numerous other positions including District President and Department President. She has also served as National Eastern Conference Chairman for the Mentoring and Publicity Programs and as Director for the Patriotic Art and Voice of Democracy Program. Locally, Panteleakos is the Regional Manager for Accounts Receivable at Regency Heights Healthcare in Danielson.
