FROM THE NEWSROOM: HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Finalists chosen for presidencies at three Connecticut community colleges are touring the campuses and meeting with the school communities. They are also undergoing interviews with Gregory Gray, president of the Connecticut State College and Universities System, as well as with members of the Board of Regents Search Committee. There are currently openings for presidents at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, Three Rivers Community College in Norwich and Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson. Applications were received from 269 candidates. On Monday, a candidate for the Three Rivers presidency will visit the campus. Dale Allen, vice president for community engagement at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Massachusetts, is scheduled to meet with faculty, staff, students and community members. A finalist for the Asnuntuck Community College presidency visited that campus May 1.
