FROM THE NEWSROOM: The Break The Chain biker group is getting their engines revved up and ready to go for a Poker Run this Sunday, a fundraiser to benefit the Hole in The Wall Gang Camp in Ashford. The camp and its associates around the world are known for their work with seriously ill children and their families; locally, the Ashford camp sees around1,500 kids per year go through its gates, according to parent Sandy Oullette, whose son Kyle was an inspiration for this poker run. The sixty-mile poker run kicks off at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Woodstock Ave in Putnam, and ends at the Thompson Rod and Gun Club where there will be a $20 chicken dinner. Registration for the Poker Run will be from 9 to 11 Sunday morning in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot.
