FROM THE NEWSROOM: The Brooklyn Board of Selectmen met tonight to finalize the financial aspects of a potential partnership with Putnam in the up-and-coming Quinebaug Regional Technology Park. As previously reported, town residents will vote at a town meeting on October 9th on whether or not to join up with Putnam by buying into two 10% shares of the park. The cost would be $160,000, but the return interest rate is still up in the air, which is one of the issues that Brooklyn officials are dealing with when it comes to presenting the proposal to the town.
