FROM THE NEWSROOM: (UPDATE) The operator of a motorcycle that wrecked on I-395 in Putnam this morning has been transported by Putnam EMS to Day Kimball Hospital with minor injuries, according to QV Emergency Communications Dispatchers. State Police troopers have closed the left lane of traffic in the area while the accident is cleared. Emergency responders are on the scene of a motorcycle accident that occurred around 5:30 a.m. Monday on I-395 in Putnam, according to State Police. Early reports indicate that a 2010 black Harley Davidson motorcycle with Massachusetts registration plates wrecked in the high speed lane of I-395 southbound just north of exit 95, resulting in minor injuries to the operator.
