FROM THE PASTOR: AMEN! We all use the word very often as Christians in and out of our church environment when something is said that we like, or approve of - but what does this Biblical word really mean? I found this definition interesting enough to share with you. “This little word is one that is centered on the idea of the truth of God. The expression “amen” is not simply an acknowledgment of personal agreement with what has been stated; it is an expression of willingness to submit to the implications of that word, to indeed be bound by it, as if the Word of God would put ropes around us not to strangle or retard us but to hold us firmly in place.” —R.C. Sproul As we continue our revival services please use the word, AMEN! Not only to agree with what you hear, but acknowledging a willingness to submit to what you amen. AMEN!
