FROM THE PHILIPPINES..... One of the many kind people whose messages went into my OTHER folder is a volunteer for CARA (Compassion And Responsibility for Animals) in the Philippines! She wrote, The photo you posted of the dogs (mostly pit bulls) in drums is a photo taken in March 2012 of 270+ dogs rescued from a Korean dogfighting operation in San Pablo City, Laguna, south of Manila. CARA is the animal welfare group that has been caring for these rescued dogs for the past year and a half.
