FROM: THE STUDENTS LEADERSHIP TO: THE BARUTI, LEANERS, EDUCATORS OF MASHOORO HIGH AND THE FAMILY OF RAMAPHOKO The SRC of 1997 would like to convey their condolences for the passing away of our former hardworking, disciplined, dedicated manager, principal and reverend of our life time. One would realize that Mashooro was born during the political reforms which was taking place in our country. It was obviously difficult to head the learners of that era. Everybody was claiming to be a comrade with the aim of disturbing the system of learning and teaching. Mr Ramaphoko stood his ground by make sure that after a holiday, tomorrow is a fulyfledged school day. And he also made sure that if you dispute his announcement, the he will quote his managers by saying aowa banna koure and then ba districk bare ........ As students leaders he made sure that we subscribe to all the political formation that were being established around Bolobedu area like COSAS. But he also made fun of me by question if I am a chairperson or the president of SRC. There were also fightings which were taking place which needed a strong leader to manage. Who will forget the famous fight that brought the school to stand still. This principal was a motivater who always related how he worked at farms delivering crates of fruits in Pietersburg jumping robots caring heavy loads. But because he was focused, he went back to school to finish his teaching diploma. Wherever we are we always remember this man. May his soul rest in peace.
