FROM TWIN OF CHRIST (A Parable of the Christ) by James Mandolare. Peter spoke to the Lord before Yeshua addressed the crowds. 5000 have come to hear your words Lord Yeshua. But how will we feed them all? And when they had all gathered on the hill side Lord Yeshua welcomed them all and then smiled down from the heights. His voice echoed among the hills crowded with people. Welcome brothers and sisters! Welcome all who have come to hear the great news! Welcome the Hebrew Priests and the Learned men of Israel! Welcome the sages from Greece and Persia and India and the Far East! Welcome to the Romans and the Gauls and the Druids from the west! Welcome to the householder and the business man-to the poor and the wretched! All are welcome at My Fathers table! Our Lord Yeshua walked among them. Many have come far to hear this Good News: The Holy Spirit and the Goddess of Earth and the God of Spirit LOVES YOU ALL! Jew or Gentile; rich or poor! Priest or slave! How do we prove our love of God? asked someone in the crowd. Many of you have come from the cities; from far away Rome and India and Cathay! From Athens and Baghdad; from Egypt and Ethiopia! You have come out of the desert and from Sephorus and Ceaserea and Capurnum; from Nazareth and Jerusalem! There are many among us who are rich and many more who are poor! Many have not eaten in days as they followed their hearts on this long Pilgrim Trail to this wilderness. I ask you- you who are rich! Did you bring your feast with you on Camel and ass? Did your servants carry your abundance out to these sacred hills? Did you come to prove your love of God? Prove it then! You who have plenty-you have enough food in your baskets to feed the poor for a week! Open up your baskets of fish and bread and the great bounty of your riches! If you who are rich will go hungry for one day and give what you have to the poor who have not eaten in three days-you will be blessed by Man and God! You will be the miracle that feeds the poor in the wilderness just as Moses did of old! Give of your Mammon and change it to Manna! Give all you have to the poor-just for this one day! And prove you are the faithful children of God! Lord Yeshua took a basket of bread and a basket of fish from Judas. He held one loaf and one fish above his head and showed it to the crowd. He then walked up to a poor beggar and gave the food to him. Those in the crowd that had food gave it to those who had none. And the five thousand were fed that day!
