FRONT OFFICE MANAGER (for High End Boutique Hotel) ***Direct Employment (with Immediate Vacancy) Salary $2,800 to S$3,500 per month [depending on experience] Requirements: o Minimum 5 years experience in front office operations [with minimum of 3 years spent in a managerial function (managing a minimum team size of 5 staff)] o 5 working days a week [10 hours a day] o Willing to work weekends and public holidays o Either Singaporean or PR Job Description Overseeing and running the entire Front of House operation, which includes 6 staff members Reception and Customer Service o Conduct check-in and check-out procedures o Interact with guests o Provide local and regional information o Respond to emails o Assist with transportation requests o Record and respond to guest concerns within 36 hours o Update bed allocation for online booking sites o Actively seek guest feedback for areas of improvement and suggest ways to implement suggestions o Actively encourage guests to provide feedback on OTAs or Tripadvisor o Monitor and respond to Trip advisor reviews o Monitor OTAs for guest feedback on a weekly basis. Provide encouragement to team in areas where they have done well, and feedback in areas for improvement Staff Training and Management o Create a positive workplace culture and environment o Ensure team morale and motivation o Train the staff o Create specific task lists for each position o Request feedback and ideas from each team member o Conduct performance evaluations on a monthly basis Purchasing and Inventory Control o Maintain a business relationship with vendors and suppliers o Monitor inventory levels and place orders for products and supplies on a regular basis o Develop a checklist for all items which require ordering, including relevant contact person and contact details o Research suppliers for the best prices, deals, and availability of products o Review all existing supplier relationships on a yearly basis and seek the best pricing / call for tender when contract is up Tourist Attractions and Transportation o Liaise with tourist attraction ticket suppliers to expand range of ticket offerings and seek out the lowest ticket rates o Liaise with brochure providers to ensure brochures are topped up regularly o Seek out more convenient ways for guests to locate our hotel and improve on transportation information provided to guests staying with us o Provide convenient ways for guests to access public transport from the hotel Sales and Marketing o Creating and advertising promotions o Seeking out and contacting groups on accommodation o Liaising with tour operators Fit in with our job requirement & able to take on our job description?
