FSPA proudly congratulates Kenny Hadley on his Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE)! An FSPA music faculty member since 1998, Kenny is Instructor of Drums and directs FSPAs Groovemasters Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Krewe. Kenny plays percussion for Electric Youth and is orchestra contractor for FPAC. Hes performed throughout the US, Europe and South America and has worked with such legendary musicians as Van Morrison, Dizzy Gillespie, The Count Basie Orchestra, Peter Wolf, The Drifters and Rebecca Parris. His 16-piece Kenny Hadley Big Band released a new CD in 2009, the acclaimed Common Thread.” Way to go, Kenny, on this well-deserved honor!
