He has tendency to use his right foot more than his left. But, most of the goals that he scored this season so far has been with left foot. STRENGHTS: Technically gifted, great dribbler, great passing skills, good in terms of positioning in the field and an excellent finishing skills of a natural goal scorer. EDUCATION: He is currently a senior attending Jeremiah Burke High School, a Boston Public School where he played 12 games this season and scored over 40 goals. So far this season in the USAAFRICA league, he has played 11 games and has scored a total of 20 goals (2 from penalty) for his club Grito Povo Soccer Club in the Boston based Cape Verdean/African amateur soccer league. Over the past 3 seasons in this league his stellar performances has led him to received several awards such as best player award as well as rookie of the year award. Technically, he is a gifted and talented player and his talent level is definitely above most of his peers in that league. He certainly has a brighter future and if he continues to work hard, he may find himself in a professional setting sooner than later. After observing and scouting him for two games, Ive realized that he is a raw-talent in the making. In the meantime, Ill continue to monitor his performance as well as assess his development progress over the course of the season. He has been scouted and courted by a couple local Universities around the City of Boston and the vicinity cities. One local Univerity that has shown interest in his soccer talent is the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. SOCCER TRAJECTORY: He was born into a soccer family, where his Dad and his two older brothers all played as amateur soccer players back in his homeland Cape Verde. While growing-up in Cape Verde, he played for the U17 of Cutelinho, Grito Povo (Monteiros) and he also represented the Fogo Island U17 regional selection team. His favorite footballer is no more no less than the Argentine World Class footballer Messi. But, the player that he really molded his game after is the Portuguese striker Nuno Gomes. Here in th US, he has suited up for Valeo FC, Atalaia FC and Gritu Povo for the past 3 seasons. GOAL/DREAM: His lifelong goal and dream is to one day suit-up for Benfica or FC Barcelona.
