Covenant Bible Study is coming to FUMC this Fall!!! Registration begins THIS SUNDAY!! There will be an afternoon class and an evening class. Space is limited, so sign up soon. Looking for a way to make each day a Day of Gratitude? Pick up a copy of the “Prayer for a New Day” at the Information Desk. Due to the Children’s Presentation we will celebrate Holy Communion next Sunday, August 10th. Our Open Your Heart Project for August will continue collecting school room supplies for Taft Elementary as a part of our Team Taft ministry. For more details, see the Welcome Desk. Little Ladies Quilting group concludes this week. They will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00. Would you like to learn more about becoming a member of “Team Taft” this Fall? Signup at the Welcome Desk for more information about the ways you can volunteer or help out with a specific project at Taft Elementary as the new school year begins. Running the sound board for worship and special services is not as hard as it looks. If you have ever been even remotely interested, just give it a try to see if you like it. We are also looking for someone to run a video camera during late service. There is no technical experience required. Ill show you how. We just need an extra hand once or twice a month.
