The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) series of standards is one of the most widely known and internationally recognised. ISO 9000 standards are implemented by some 600,000 organisations in 152 Countries. ISO 9001 has become an international reference for quality management – it is a quality system standard. It emphasises principles, goals and objectives. All of these focus upon one main aim – meeting customer requirements and expectations. FuturA RooF Ltd maintains a Quality Management System meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. What is Quality Management? The ISO family is primarily concerned with “Quality Management”. This relates to what the organisation does to fulfil the customer’s quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and to achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of these objectives. BS EN ISO 9001:2008 is a Quality Management System certification held by FuturA RooF Ltd. How does ISO 9001 benefit our Customers? A well designed, well implemented, and carefully managed ISO 9001 quality system provides confidence that the output of the process (our product / service) will meet customer requirements and expectations. It does this by requiring that every business activity is conducted in a three part cycle: planning, control and documentation. Who Accredits ISO 9001? The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is officially recognised by the DTI to accredit organisations against internationally agreed standards for testing, calibration, inspection and certification. Using a UKAS accredited supplier ensures that you are making a confident and informed choice about the quality and reliability of the service you will receive. FuturA RooF Ltd is accredited by UKAS in Quality Management System certification. How is this System Audited? FuturA RooF Ltd is registered with the British Standards Institute (BSI). The BSI is UKAS accredited to provide ISO certification. An annual audit of our Company’s Quality Management System is carried out by an Auditor from the BSI. This BSI Quality Assurance assessment to BS (British Standard) EN (European Norm) ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) - that is BS EN ISO 9001:2008 - demonstrates to our customers that we are committed to quality, able to meet customer requirements efficiently and consistently and that our organisation’s quality management system is independently audited by the BSI. Certification We are happy to provide a copy of our certification and scope of registration to our clients if required. Our Company details are included in the QA Register, which is the United Kingdom Register of Quality Assured Companies which have achieved certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 with UKAS registered bodies (e.g. British Standards Institute).
