FWD: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE In case you missed it! This is a reminder that Michael Nuccios Actors Menu 5280 will be adding a Thursday evening class. Starting March 20th 2014. ****We also have one opening for our Tuesday Evening Class- spot avail March 18th*** (Email for details) Classes will be held weekly from 7p.m to 10p.m Berkeley Community Center (on the Community Hall Stage) 3701 W. 50th Ave. (northwest corner of 50th & Meade) Denver, CO 80221 Parking lot is available. 303-870-3588 Students enrolled in this workshop can expect to work on: Audition technique for film, commercial and stage Scene study and script analysis On camera technique Character development Personal development and career goals Live performance* (A variety showcase of the work being done in class for community residents, family and friends) We can work with actors of any level. Classes are on going, actors may join at any time minimum 4 week commitment. Full class agendas are built into a 12 week period with monthly payments every 4 weeks. * Only students participating in the full 12 week sessions will be asked to participate in the student showcase. About Michael Nuccio Michael Nuccio began his theater training in New York City at the Neighborhood Playhouse under Ron Stetson. He continued studying the Sanford Miesner technique of acting under Ron Stetson at the Stetson Studio in New York. Michael has also studied with Deborah Hedwall, who is currently Head of the M.F.A. Acting Program at Rutger’s University and was Uta Hagen’s protégée and assistant. Michael spent several years with the Ensemble Studio Theater’s Actor/Director Lab who’s main focus was writing, producing, acting, and directing original works. He then came to Denver to study with Bill Howey, who has taught such pupils as Max Greenfield (NEW GIRL), Sarah Shahi, George Clooney, Mimi Rogers and Pricilla Presley. In 2006 Bill Howey granted his Denver Studio to Michael, trusting him to continue teaching “The Actor’s Menu” technique. Michael has an impressive resume, which includes movies, TV appearances, and national commercials. Michael locally directed, Life Happens, an eight woman cast performing original work here in Denver, and The Painter, a one act play by Peter DeAnello which won the jury award for best play at the Tri-media Festival. In 2010 Michael produced and directed the short film Shabadoo and Rigsby and is currently in development on writing, producing and directing original work.
