FYI --- I have had a comput meltdown...I have some donation that came in that I need to post, but they are on a spreadsheet on my now broken laptop...please be patient with me...I will get them posted and thank you very much for your donations. I have constant problems with being able to navigate my email and anything on line...on both my computer and my smart phone...alot of it has to do with my connection here where I live in MS...what I refer to as the black hole of technology...hard to get a signal and the only high speed internet access I can use here is a wireless card...I can only see and do so much on my smart phone and it is very hard to do much on a phone...On top of that...I never know until there is a problem but we have found out that my phone has to be reset constantly because if I leave here and go into town it swtiches towers or something and when I come back...it doesnt work...but I never know that until I go to use my phone...On top of that...My laptop wouldnt come on the other day...took it to the computer guy and they said their initial diagnosis is that it would probably not be worth the money to try to repair it...looks like battery problem, fan problem, hard drive problem and possibly motherboard problem...all things that happen when a computer is old...Im grateful they were able to get my files off my hard drive...that is all that matters...they were busy with other jobs when I got there but I stood there crying asking them to just ck my files and save them and they did and even more tears that they are saved...that is all I care about...I will deal with the rest next week and figure it out then...I really prayed all the way there and said if my files are fine...I know you arent suppose to bargain and make deals with God...but I said if you save my files I will be fine and let it go and be grateful for that and will not stress about it and I will make do with what I have or do without until Monday...I am keeping that promise...I have another laptop that Im trying to use for now to get thru the weekend, but it is older and I cant do much on it without it freezing...so there will be a big delay in me seeing and responding to notifications on FB...Even with high speed internet access and all the modern technology we have...when it is working perfectly...with the amount of phone calls, emails, texts, and messages and now all the added ways someone can reach me...it takes me days to weeks to get to everyone...So...I tell you all this to make sure you know that it will take longer than usual to wade thru all the notifications and messages from two facebook pages, the texts, the emails from two websites...Im trying...please be patient with me. When we first moved here I had to use dial up the first 2 yrs...I am glad I didnt know before we moved here that there wasnt high speed internet...because Im sure I wouldnt have moved...this is just the pay off for being able to live in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful piece of property and be able to house and provide a beautiful sanctuary for these misfits to come live at while they wait for their happy ever after...they are worth having to live in the dark ages....I appreciate you all.
