FYI: A older, white male with grey/white hair driving a beige/light brown SUV attempted to lure our 10 year old son from our gated yard and into his vehicle on 5th st today. The front license plate is either missing or very dirty. He had been dropped off at home after school, but had forgotten his key, so he was waiting outside unt I got home with his younger siblings from the elem school. He was so scared because the man wasnt leaving that he hopped the wall to the neighbors house and ran around the corner to his friends house. The man then followed behind him as he ran down the street and into the mobile home park where his friend lives. At that point my son says he made a u turn and sped off. I went to the Sheriffs station to file a report but was turned away and told that it would take longer to wait there for an officer and that calling from home would be better?!?! Still waiting...so until then Im just letting you all know to be on the look out and be extra vigilant when it comes to your kiddos. We have 4 dogs and a fenced yard and this guy still stopped and tried to get my son to come to him! Scary!!!
