FYI....City of Alpharetta officials reopened Rucker Road to vehicular traffic just in time for the evening commute. At 5:00 PM the roadway had been cleared of trees, debris and utility lines that had been taken down by powerful winds early this morning. While Rucker Road is open, however, Harris Road remains closed where it intersects Rucker. No traffic will be allowed to turn onto Harris Road from Rucker Road or to access Rucker from Harris. That portion of the intersection will likely remain closed through this evening.
