We still need additional volunteers to man all of the posts. Please check your schedules and see if you can volunteer your help. Three Rides: 10.2, 32, and 62 miles. When: Saturday Sept 13th Sign-In: 7:00 am Start Time: 7:30 am Approx End Time: 2:00 pm Home Base: New England Athletic Club, 6 Progress Drive, Cromwell, Ct. 1. Net Control Station: 7:00 am: Control Operator, Message Handler, and a relief operator if possible. 2. Three SAG vehicles: 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 am departures. 3. Four Rest Stops: 10.2 Mile Route: 8:00 am; Shelco Filters, 100 Bradley Street, Middletown, Ct. 32 and 62 Mile Route: 8:00 am; Cooper Atkins, 33 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield, Ct. 9:00 am; Guilford Veterinary Hospital, 81 Saw Mill Road (Hubbard), Guilford, Ct. 9:00 am; Creative Beginnings, 3 Technology Drive, Wallingford, Ct. Total Volunteers required: 10 We currently have the following eight Volunteers: Mark k1pu, Chris kb1woi, Marian ab1vs, Mac w1fym, Don k1cmm,Dug kb1uvj,Wyane n1clv and George ab1gl. Paul, k1pl : Relay Station for cross repeater operation. Equipment Required: Control Station: Radio, Power Supply, Antenna System SAG Vehicles: Handheld or Mobil Radio with pwr cable, Mag Mount Antenna. Rest-Stop: Handheld or Mobil Radio with a good antenna system. If you have volunteered please confirm that you will be there on Saturday. I would like all of us to meet at the Senior Center this Tuesday evening the 9th at 6:30 pm to review the plans, confirm everyone has the needed equipment and to answer any questions you may have. If you cant make the meeting please e-mail me your confirmation, the equipment you have available and your questions.
