FYI......for anyone going to Quito on the bus. I went to Quito today on the bus and due to temblor related problems on the Pana, the bus took the back way both going to Quito and returning late this afternoon. The fare is $3.50 (one way) because its a longer route. It took 3 1/2 hours to get there this morning and 3 hours to return this afternoon (to and from Otavalo). I dont have any idea when the route will be back to normal. Hopefully soon!
