FYI..very cool Labrador youth opportunity you can support!! Mapping the way - a mobile mental wellness team serving the aboriginal communities in Labrador, has partnered with Canada World Youth (CWY) – (founded in 1971) which is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing dynamic youth, with an opportunity to learn about other communities, cultures and people while developing leadership and communications skills. Twelve (12) youth will be chosen from Nain, Hopedale, and Sheshatshiu. These youth have endured much emotional, psychological and even physical pain in their lives at such a young age but despite this, they continue to persevere. This will be a hands on experience whereby our youth will help the Tanzanian community by planting trees, building projects and working with youth in teaching English and sports and recreation activities. The youth will be staying in the Parakuyo village, Kilosa, Morogoro region,Tanzania, which is a small community of 3000 Maasai people. It is a safe community and they are a People of the land.
