F_C_ FEAR!- One of the most comforting benefits that will accrue in your life from Christ is that you will have less fear. When you leave the world’s demands behind and venture into the light of Christ, you realize how fearful you have been acting and to what degree fear has been driving your behavior. As the Holy Spirit helps you to uncover and ultimately leave behind your weaknesses, you will be “pushed to freedom†by God. The Bible says that, “Perfect love casts out all fear†(1 John 4: 18). The Holy Spirit is perfection. With all of the spiritual awakenings your body and spirit are undergoing, fear will slide away as you live under the direction and protection of God. You begin to understand that God “has your back.†As Jesus said, “It has pleased your Father to give you the kingdom†(Luke 12: 32) and that “Even the very hairs of your head are numbered†(Luke 12: 7). Communion with God drives out fear, and this is yet another example of how living in your new spirit causes you to be less anxious and more relaxed. -ML
