Fab session tonight with Vikki and Bronte :) Bronte used to be a very wild untouched pony but watching her come on leaps and bounds with Vikkis hard work, commitment and dedication and much love for this little one has been amazing to see. Its not been an easy journey thats for sure and still an interesting route ahead, but this pony is unrecognisable to when I first met her. When I first met Bronte I was unsure as to my own safety about entering the stable with her as she was very anxious and elevated and clearly had little respect for humans. Vikki had only owned her a week or so and was in need of help for Bronte. Within an hour of working with her I gained her interest and found her soft side and then began to get through to her. Vikki has been fabulous at continuing my work in between visits working on accepting people approaching her, ground manners, leading nicely, building trust and confidence and then addressing foot handling. Going anywhere behind Bronte was a big NO NO initially, so seeing her accepting her back feet as well as her front feet being trimmed tonight was lovely :)
