Fabulous Friday Writing Tip - Thinking of Publishing on Amazon? Thats awesome - BUT - There are a few factors to consider... *Amazon is a platform for any writer to publish books. Which means theres going to be a lot of CRAP writing and writers that just make everything harder for the gifted talents. *Amazon doesnt give a rats ass about their book writers. They extend the olive branch initially to get you into their tree, and then when you vested so much time and energy, too much to quit, they will start to kick you out of the tree, making you climb back up again and again just because they can. Sucks but true. *You cant trust Amazon with your royalties, book links, promotions, or anything else for that matter. Youre going to have to watch them like a hawk and check and re-check things theyve done and said they are going to do, simply because theyre infamous for changing the rules randomly and not notifying the book writers and publishers. *Amazon will frustrate the hell out of you. Thats a cold hard fact. But when push comes to shove if youre willing to persevere and sort through all the controlling crap they try to drown you in daily, you can actually make some money! *Amazon says and does different things ALWAYS! Do it or dont, but I dont want to hear you complaining when you finally figure out the whack jobs Amazon Kindle truly is as a whole. Not necessarily a negative, just a fact I have learned through almost 2 years of dealing with them every single day except Christmas cuz Im busy helping Santa! lol - Believe and it WILL happen.
