Face Book for me is a space where I share with friends & family a bit of fun, a bit of arguments and loads of laughter. Not for religious, social and political discussions (well most times at least :) ) But this has to be watched. She is a scholar who talks about how Quran is in Arabic and then in translation, the infamous concept of killing non muslims (a convenient branding tool for those with political/ religious agendas) and the infamous concept of 72 Hoorain/ virgins in paradise (with apologies to our muslim male population :) ) What is interesting is that reinforces what I always argue for...response to the notion of other, importance of definitions and contextualisation. Disagreemnet is allowed ofcourse. ENJOY !
