History, Present, Perspectives” Deadline: 30 March 2015 Open to: students, graduate students, researchers, scientists and qualified professionals and experts Award: a cash prize of 100 euros Description The path of European integration is complex and thorny, and each country accomplished different tasks on this way. The aim of the conference is to make an empirical study of the experiences of selected countries and their characteristics in social, economic, cultural, gender and other contexts , as well as transformations and changes in the path of the European continent towards united Europe – from associate membership to full entry status of the Member State. Both positive and critical approaches of analysis are welcomed. Following the conference, booklet of papers will be published. Participants (upon request) will be provided with electronic certificates. Within the conference, Society Initiatives Institute, announces the competition for best work. The winner receives a cash prize of 100 euros. Eligibility Conference invites students, graduate students, researchers, scientists and qualified professionals and experts from disciplines such as philosophy, history, history of political and legal studies, political science and theory of geopolitics, cultural studies, law, public international law (diplomatic and consular law, international humanitarian law, international maritime law, international criminal law, law of international security, law of treaties, law of international organizations), theory and practice management decisions (simulations); sociology, etc. Costs Cost of participation in the conference is 20 euros. It includes a copy of printed booklet of the conference, its distribution to the author and editorial costs. Information about ways of payment of the fee for participation in the conference are available here Payment After the payment is done, participant should send scanned receipt of payment (or in the case of electronic transfer a screenshot), together with the short biographical information and article. Upon receiving all the required documents, the Organizing Committee will provide confirmation of receiving all relevant documents. Application The paper length is 3-5 pages. Authors are also asked to provide a brief (50-100 words) biographical information about themselves (in free form). Biographical information should include address, to which author desires to receive his printed version of the booklet. Electronic version of booklet of best works will be available on-line from April 15th. Printed version will be distributed by 1st of May. Applications has to be made in the form: Surname_articlename, Surname_biography, Surname_receipt.
