Facebook can be strange. Lots of people have recently been posting an ancient Korean TV report about the Lit Motors gyro cabin bike, which must be at least 2 years old. None of them have bothered to look on Lit Motors own Facebook page where theres a brand new BBC TV report showing the latest prototype. It raises as many questions as it answers and also inadvertently demonstrates how much smoke and mirrors there was in the original super-compact, super-stylish 2nd prototype and accompanying promo video. Now that the company is building something which is actually supposed to work in the real world its clear that in order to take 2 people, its going to need a much longer wheelbase; hub motors seem to have been abandoned and the huge question mark over proper single track vehicle direction changes remain unanswered as it makes a very wide arc of a turn at walking pace with no leaning required..... And as everyone with any sense predicted, production is way behind the original preposterously optimistic schedule and still a very long way off! Shame the reporter didnt think to ask more about leaning and turning at normal speeds....Id still love to have a go in it of course!
