Facebook friends. This may be a bit lengthy but I have several things to ask and pass on. My friend Paula Bells son Chris passed away Monday night in a motorcycle accident in Va. He was a member of the US Coast Guard. His visitation will be Monday evening at Howard Funeral home in Manila. With a rosary at 6 and visitation from 6:30 - 8 Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 am at Immaculate Conception in Blytheville. Burial will be in Manilla. After burial Paula (who owns The Sports Bar & Grill at Big Lake) will open the bar for a gathering of all the many friends and family Chris has coming in from Va and other areas. Now for MY requests: 1) if you are military please attend as I said Chris was serving in the Coast Guard and his father was in the Navy. (His father passed away 5 years ago from cancer) 2) If you are a biker it would be a great personal favor to me if you could help escort Chris to his final resting place in Manila. 3) if any of you would like to help feed the many young men and women coming in please drop any foods off at the sports bar after the services Tuesday. 4) if you have any memories or photos of Chris you would like to share please bring them to the visitation or the Church. There will be a book and box for them to be placed in. Thank you all in advance.
