Facebook friends and Family, I have a dilemma. Most of you know my dog Alex. Recently I opted for him to have surgery for bladder stones, which was tough because of his age; they only gave him 50/50 chance of surviving. He pulled through with flying colors. In that process they discovered he had Lymphoma (cancer). The vet didn’t give me a diagnosis since he’s had lymph node issues for years. She said it could be one to two years or any day if he’s had it for a while. Now knowing all that; he became aggressive today with me and nipped at Hope. He didn’t hurt her but I can’t imagine ever allowing that to happen. What do I do? Do I leave him outside and in the basement? Would separating him make him worse? Who would want to take a 13 year old dog with health issues and an attitude? Is it time to say goodbye? I have no idea… He’s been a part of my day to day for a third of my life but the thought of him hurting Hope scares me.
