Facebook has this cool new feature where you can see the most popular age group of a certain page. As we all remember, Chicago was one of the biggest bands of the 70s. But unlike other huge bands of the 70s like Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and others who show that they are gaining masses of new fans, Chicago is not. If you look up examples of the bands I mentioned the most popular age range is 18-24 which means they are remaining relevant to younger music fans. However with Chicago they are not remaining relevant to younger music fans as their target age is 45-64. Why do you think this is? Does it puzzle you as it does me why Chicago who made as great music as the bands I mentioned isnt attracting a new fan base? Dont you think its so sad that Terrys talent and music seems to be dying with us because new ears arent hearing the music?? What are your thoughts?
