Facebook is an ever changing social media platform, and one that has taken major hits. Facebook is looked at by millions as a means of getting daily news, weather and sports information as well as staying in contact with family and friends. Over the past several years, FB has gone through countless modifications in their news feed algorithm to improve the users experience, when intact, it seems this model has caused FB to take a massive hit. FB has essentially turned into a business model and the trend looks to continue in favor of big business. Months ago, I wrote an article describing the changes to FBs newsfeed algorithm and why its preventing you from seeing the things you really want to see in your newsfeed. FB is becoming a dying breed for those not willing to pay the big dollars to promote their content. Lists and Get Notifications are means of getting updates from pages you follow, but even these options will become obsolete given that these features arent bring FB any money... Ive been trying to migrate as many as I can from ECHO to my personal account because of this reason. I am working on eventually creating a platform, independent from FB that, will allow everyone to see any updates that are posted. This will take a lot of time and energy but the end product will allow for an incredibly fast, efficient flow of weather updates.
