Fact facts. There are no secrets. Most consumers readily give up information on themselves & their location whether it’s on line or GPS. Look at it this way. If the surveillance averts terrorist acts from being carried out - it doesn’t bother me. On the other hand, if the surveillance is used inappropriately - I hate to say it - that’s life. It’s not a perfect world. Every garden has weeds. Spying has existed since the beginning of civilization. I may have my own reservations - but I want our government to possess the wherewithal to prevent intended terrorist attacks. Our surveillance has prevented numerous strikes from cowardly terrorists. Some, like the Boston Marathon bombings, still managed to slip through the cracks. I don’t agree with the sudden fuss about the DSA. Their business is and has always been to receive and interpret data pertinent to the safety of our citizens here and abroad. Quite frankly, I’m far more uneasy with being spied & listened-in on as well as my information used by Google. Who are they selling that information to?
