Fact of life: We ALL make mistakes and fall short of what #God, our Eternal Father, expects of us. We all have our moments of selfishness, envy, jealousy, strife, and so on. In the end these things make us feel weak, like were nobodys, but heres the thing: Through the Atonement of #Jesus #Christ, we can change and become better people every day! We can be somebody; more kind and charitable. More meek and long-suffering. More selfless and loving! In other words, we can become strong against temptation and more #Christlike if we choose! The scriptures offer us this counsel: 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them. -Ether 12:17 Truly as we come unto Christ He can take us from being #nobody to being #somebody. He can take our most daunting weaknesses and turn them into our greatest strengths! He will always be there with His arms outstretched to help us rise up and be better.
