Fair Tax or Flat Tax? Date: Thursday, February 20, 2014 Time: 6:30-8:30 pm Location: Community Room at Valley View Mall 13331 Preston Rd (NW corner of Preston and I-635, Dallas 75240) The convoluted tax code is a mess and must be reformed, but which tax plan would be best? Two tax experts will present the Fair Tax and the Flat Tax, then will answer questions from the audience. Steven Hayes will present the Fair Tax and Tom Giovanetti, President of the Institute for Policy Innovation, will address the Flat Tax. The location is the Community Room at Valley View Center, on the second (ground) level above the food court. We recommend entering the mall on the I-635 side between Sears and the old Foleys, at the entrance with the large American and Texas flags. Walk toward the center of the mall and bear left - the Community Room will be directly in front of you. A minimum $5 per person donation is requested to help defray the cost of the room.
