Fairfield Democrats file lawsuit to block redistricting. The RTM, Town Clerk and Registrar of Voters have been named in a civil summons seeking an injunction to prevent the implementation of the redistricting ordinance. The plaintiff is Jack Slane (former Democratic RTM Moderator), represented by Joel Green (former Democratic RTM Moderator). The plaintiff is seeking an injunction to prevent the ordinance from being implemented. Our leadership team has reviewed the summons and they are extremely confident in the course of action they have in enacting the ordinance. There are several issues that the leadership team will be addressing over the weekend and early next week. They are due in court on July 1st. We will keep you posted.
