Fairness? I teach my kids (ages 5 and 7) that nothing in life is fair...and if you ask them they can tell you that. I do this because as it has been said; Nothing is fair in this world. My purpose in life is to raise strong, independent young ladies. Allowing them to use the words...Thats not fair is simply giving them an excuse to fall short of a goal. I teach them we are a product of our choices, some choices can be fixed, some cannot so make good choices at every opportunity. A politician (wannabe politician in this case) cannot regulate fairness. In fact I would be interested in hearing what her definition of fairness is and how she would create fairness for everyone. Personally I believe it is a word that should be stricken from our vocabulary.
