Faith Not Emotions June 28 This past year, therefore, has been a time to prove the reality of my doctrine concerning the life of faith, and from the depths of an overflowing heart I can testify that it has stood the test! The Lord has kept and does keep me in perfect peace. I am more than conqueror through Him. And I realize more fully than ever before that I am all the Lord’s, and that He has taken upon Himself the whole burden of my whole life both inward and outward, spiritual and temporal, and that I have nothing to do but continually to yield myself to Him. I find it unspeakably “sweet to lie passive in His Hands, and know no will but His.” I have no cares and no anxieties the Lord is my Shepherd, and therefore I know I shall not want. Oh it is a blessed happy life who could dream earth had such liberty. I rejoice more and more that the Lord has led me by the way of faith, instead of by the way of emotions.
