Faith is not a “thing,” it is a set of actions. Faith means to - TopicsExpress

Faith is not a “thing,” it is a set of actions. Faith means to be in faith actions in the same way “run” means to be moving your legs faster than walking. If you run, you are moving your legs faster than walking. Faith or believing is the same way. If you are in faith, you are doing faith actions, the same way you are cooking, when you are in a kitchen cooking food. Faith is not a static condition, but is more like exercising a muscle that gets and stays strong the more you exercise it. • No faith actions, means no faith, and means doubt, unbelief and depression have taken over. • Little faith actions means little, weak or fainting faith, and means doubt, unbelief and depression are rising. • Lots of continual faith action, means strong faith that keeps doing faith actions under pressure BEFORE and UNTIL the promise of God is manifest, and that means doubt, unbelief and depression are under your feet. Faith in God by His Word is developed over time with repetition. Faith is a noun, believing is the verb form. Ancient Hebrew uses only verbs so in the KJV, the word faith is found twice, and both times it should have been translated as “faithfulness.” The Old Testament word translated as belief is like a peg driven into the ground. Since faith also means confidence, then the process of building faith drives that peg deeper and deeper so it cannot be pulled out in the face of conflicting facts and situations. Faith or believing can be stirred up in an immediate immersion process of 6-20 hours a day, for 3-5 days, for an immediate miracle need. It can even be developed and stirred up while you are in a prayer battle. For more on this building faith in the middle of a battle, see the Power Trilogy book, “Battle Prayer for Divine Healing – Field Manual 2.”
